We went to temple square to see what Tucker calls "Jesus' castle", and also to see what Aidan calls the "happy", or in non 1 year old terms, the Christmas lights.
It is so much fun to see Tucker become more familiar and more excited about Christmas. We have been telling him that he has been a very good boy this year and that Santa is going to bring him some toys. Yesterday he asked me if I had been a "good boy". I corrected him and told him that mommy was a girl, to which he replied: "You've been a good GRIL mommy?" He's just so cute!
And of course Christmas just wouldn't be the same without a trip to the emergency room (at ten o'clock at night)! Our Aidan, being the very rough and tumble boy that he is, fell against my parent's coffee table and cracked his head open right above his eyebrow. It resulted in a long night and six stitches. But, boy, was he a trooper! While we were waiting for him to be stitched up, he was walking around the emergency room like nothing had happened! Too bad Mommy couldn't have been that brave.
