Going 007

So, we have decided to go private with our blog. It's a scary world out there and we need to protect our children. Please reply to this post with your name and email address if you are wanting to have access to read our blog. We have set it so that your comments will not be shown for your protection as well.

Christmas Update

Sorry it has been so long since we have blogged. As with everyone else, things have been crazy busy. We have had a lot of fun with our boys this Christmas season.

We went to see Santa, which went over much better than last time. Aidan went first, and was pleased as can be because Santa gave him CANGY (candy). Tucker, a little wary of the Big Man, waited in the sidelines watching Aidan get his candy. As soon as he figured out that if Aidan could do it, how bad could Santa be. He was soon totally mesmerized by his candy.

We went to temple square to see what Tucker calls "Jesus' castle", and also to see what Aidan calls the "happy", or in non 1 year old terms, the Christmas lights.

It is so much fun to see Tucker become more familiar and more excited about Christmas. We have been telling him that he has been a very good boy this year and that Santa is going to bring him some toys. Yesterday he asked me if I had been a "good boy". I corrected him and told him that mommy was a girl, to which he replied: "You've been a good GRIL mommy?" He's just so cute!

And of course Christmas just wouldn't be the same without a trip to the emergency room (at ten o'clock at night)! Our Aidan, being the very rough and tumble boy that he is, fell against my parent's coffee table and cracked his head open right above his eyebrow. It resulted in a long night and six stitches. But, boy, was he a trooper! While we were waiting for him to be stitched up, he was walking around the emergency room like nothing had happened! Too bad Mommy couldn't have been that brave.
